SB 596 would smooth the way for Choice Voting...
Be sure to check out State Senator Debra Bowen's press release about her new bill SB 596. SB 596 would let any city, county, or special district use ranked voting for their elections.
Right now California lets only chartered cities and counties use choice voting. Since Davis and Yolo County are not chartered, SB 596 would make passing choice voting even easier! Ask our State Senator Mike Machado and our Assemblymember Lois Wolk to support SB 596!
